I strive to create a welcoming environment in which people feel comfortable with being themselves. Therapy can be nerve-wracking and uncomfortable at times, so I welcome all use of colorful language and unconventional communication. However you feel best expressing yourself, I’m here for it.
I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and grew up in Miami, Florida. Prior to pursuing psychology, I was 95% finished with my Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design before I realized I’d rather play the Sims than design real houses. I currently live in central Florida with my partner and three dogs (of course, pictures below).
My professional experience has focused on trauma, anxiety, and early childhood wounds – things that essentially the vast majority (if not all) have, but may be scared or apprehensive to discuss. I enjoy working with people who have either had a bad therapy experience, have never tried it before, or are apprehensive about it, with the goal of providing themselves a chance at peace.
Not sure if we would work well together? Let’s give it a try with a free, 15 minute consultation. If we click, great! If not, I can refer you to some colleagues to help you find a good fit. I conduct telehealth sessions with weekday, weekend, and late evening availability. manage stress, and rediscover peace.
To advocate for mental health awareness, to assist clients in creating lasting and profound interpersonal and intrapersonal connections, and ultimately show clients that the peace they seek exists and is attainable.
